Privacy notice

This notice explains what Audit Shield AI collects through the Smoke Alarm website and application, and how it is used.

Demo requests

When you request a demonstration we store the details you provide (name, company, email, phone, number of locations, POS provider and primary challenge) together with a hashed network address and browser identifier used only for abuse prevention. We use this information to contact you about the demonstration. We do not sell it or add you to marketing lists without consent.

Personalised pages

A link we send you may open a page prepared for you (an address beginning /discover). That page records that the link was opened and which of its buttons were pressed, together with the browser identifier and a hashed network address, so we do not follow up with someone who has already read our note. The page sets no cookies and loads no third-party analytics.

Customer accounts

Customer accounts store login credentials (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text), session records, and the inventory, count, investigation and audit data your team enters or connects. Customer data is isolated per organisation.

Integrations

Connections to point-of-sale systems and state tracking systems are made only with credentials you authorise. Credentials are encrypted before they are stored, with a key held only in the server environment, and are never shown back in full. In demonstration mode, all integrations are simulated and no external system is contacted.

Email

Transactional email (demo confirmations, invitations, alerts and reports) is delivered through our email provider. Delivery status is recorded so we can tell you accurately whether a message was accepted.

Retention and requests

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. To access, correct or delete your information, contact us using the details on the contact page.
